Terms

These terms cover the Glintshot app, its browser extension and Glintshot Pro. They're between you and Kubicl Technologies ("we"). By installing or using Glintshot, you agree to them.

Using Glintshot

  • You may install and use Glintshot for personal and work use, on as many computers as you like.
  • Glintshot is licensed, not sold. You may not resell it, remove its licence checks or redistribute changed copies.
  • You're responsible for what you capture and where you send it. Respect other people's privacy and the rules of the apps and sites you capture.

Pro

  • Pro is a yearly subscription ($29 a year), plus any sales tax or VAT where you live. It renews automatically until you cancel.
  • One licence works in up to 3 places at a time. Each computer and each browser with the Glintshot extension counts as one. You can move it by deactivating one.
  • Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which sells Pro to you as the merchant of record. Their buyer terms apply to the purchase.
  • Cancel anytime from Manage subscription in Settings › Licence. Pro keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. See refunds.
  • If we change the price, we'll tell you before your next renewal, and the new price applies only from that renewal.

Free and Pro

What's free and what Pro adds is on the pricing table. We may change it; anything you already captured stays yours.

AI providers and other services

If you connect an AI provider, a command-line tool or another app, what you send is handled by that service under its own terms. Answers from AI models can be wrong; check them before relying on them.

Updates

Glintshot updates itself on macOS, Windows and Linux (AppImage). The Linux .deb package is updated by installing the new version. Updates are free for everyone. We may add, change or remove features over time.

No warranty

Glintshot is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we don't promise it will be free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date below. For changes that matter to Pro subscribers, we'll tell you before they take effect.
